well, just started a series of small planes... first decent one, others will follow

I really like these, they are appealling. is the leading edge sweep as pronounced as you have portrayed it? probably a few too many colors but you have used them well to add texture. at no time will a propellor on a side or top projection have symmetrical shading due to the opposing angles and pitch of blades. with the slightly offset lighting you should also shade the left intersection of body and wing slightly more than right and draw shadow caused by the tail.

I really like the top one, the second seems a little murky, perhaps just brighten it a little. The only other crit I'd add is i think there should be a bit of a cone in front of the propellers, even if its just one pixel, it looks a bit odd with the front of them being totally flat.

corrected those propellers shading, shifted palettes a bit for the tigercat and added a russian I-16
