The grass is spray painted on B/C I SUCK at grass...and other stuff.

But I hope I can learn new techniques and tricks.

And I have this running loop... I have no animating tool...

As a rule of thumb, never use the spray tool (or techniques the produce the same effect) - it looks crappy and not really pixel art. For grass, I always try to avoid as much noise as possible.

Here are some references:

If you want a noisier look, make sure you draw the blades as blades, not dots. :y:

At least the composition is good, but pixel art is all about the tiny details.

Link would be proud.

The house on the left's roof is unnaturally rounded.

This is pretty boss!  :D

Woah, why'd you change the grass?

This is much better than the spray-on grass.  :y:

For colors, I would suggest more hue shifting towards cooler colors (especially green), to give it that "enclosed forest" feeling I miss.

Also, less dithering/general noisy pixels would benefit this piece; try to avoid single pixels all together, and focus more on "clusterage" as Mathias calls it.
