Title: Background
Post by: what on October 23, 2010, 07:19:39 pm
I 4got 2 say this in my last post, but I'm relatively new to pixeling and am new to Pixelation. :crazy:
But, here it is.
It's also meant to be tiled.  :D
<EDIT>
It's also supposed to be layered clouds, for a game i'm working on (I obviously didn't pull that off well)

Could you provide some more context for what kind of background this is? what you're trying to accomplish? it may help in critiquing.

I highly suggest you reference some clouds and don't use solid grays, throw a little color in.

Instead of just grey, try using a very desaturated light blue. :)

Unfortunately the image was gone before I could see it, but I believe you try to achieve the parallax effect? (layered clouds)

In most cases, the upper row is the darkest, ranging to the lightest in the back, with an accurate gradient spread over the layers...
