Pixelation

Well, I'm a learning isometric artist, but the only thing I can't figure out how to do correctly is isometric text, like writing letters at the correct angle. I've read a tutorial saying that I use a function in Photoshop or Imageready, but it didn't work correctly (or at least the way I was told to do it.)
Anyone wanna help me out with this?
