All c&c wlecome. Just a quick thing to get a feel for volume lighting and color.

Unsure why one side of the ribbon uses black but other doesn't.

Feel for volume/lighting/color in terms of pixel art or in general?

That part is black because it is still in progress; I originally drew it in black.
