Title: Pixel Fonts
Post by: pixelrox on September 04, 2010, 05:50:48 pm
I would like to design my own pixel font. Can someone recommend excellent software for this. If you have additional information, such as the file format that would be best and other things I might not think of as a beginner when it comes to fonts, please let me know.

This is a link to an online bitmap font creator I cam across a bit back - it is bare-bones but if it doesn't totally suit your needs it may at least give you a rapid prototyping tool.

This is a excellent pixel font creator. You can do many things with this.

I've been recreating old nes fonts and it will create Truetype, Opentype, etc.

It also allows for real time use of your font as you create it.
