Pixelation

While awaiting critique for my snake (http://www.wayofthepixel.net/pixelation/index.php?topic=10368.0), I began a new sprite. This is aimed to be one of the party characters, a gobblin, that will possibly walk around the map. Anyway, here is the progression:

I feel that I achieved the chubbiness that I was going for but his feet and legs seem strange. Any tips/pointers for me?
