Yes, more eyeballs. Based on an old drawing (http://www.retinaleclipse.com/cgart032.jpg) of mine.

I need to make the palette a bit more interesting, and I'm struggling a bit with the anatomy and volumetrics. What do you think about it so far?

Where is the lightsource? How wet is the skin of the girl and the tentacles? These matter for the rendering and for the speculars. Right now you've got super-wet going on, and a sorta leftwards bright source in otherwise darkness. Is this what you want?

I like it so far otherwise, it'll be interesting to see you work it to your usual level of polish.

I don't know how much emotion you can pull off from a woman without any arms though!

The tentacle eyes seem kinda weird as they are now; too flimsy. It works in the, uh, original because there's machine parts put in, but when it's just organic it seems odd. I think you should either include machine bits like in the original or bulk up and/or compact the eyes. See:
