With the first image, you ought to define some folds and/or shift the soldier's hat down some. With that, you ought to do something with his left (our right.) arm, since it looks like it has no bones, and usually human arms don't reach that far down. Raise it a little bit after you fixed the problem with his skeletal anatomy.

fixed arm...
mabey i should make it look more shirt-ish with folds by the neck...damn it looks off, ive been raising and tweakin like dog. :blind:
Is the torso too big in the latter soldieredit?

Soldier dude is great..I like the first one better, has more contrast on the shirt. Could maybe use some more color and contrast, e.g.

Guy with sword is great. Self-portrait is creepy.

some kind of update

ok killed the former pictures, updated

the solderis are great, the background is utilitarian, and i'm really not font of the cars for being so out of perspective with the rest. I now you probably want to use rotation for ease, but it really takes away from the quality when it breaks form like that

The light from the headlights wouldn't just apear away from the car. The light you have there looks like it is coming from above not from the car maybe it could look more like this.

it looks more like it is coming from the head lights

thanks for the replies
Adarias: yeah i hear ye aboot the car perspective, guess drawing it in 32 different angels is for me to do. hehe
Phlox: thats the corrent way to do it i guess, but i really liked the 2 circles attached to the front. thanks for edit though...even if its a small one :D

The way with just two circles is the way, for example, Nitro from Psygnosis did it on the Amiga/ST.
