It's sorta sad that the base has so low contrast but you oughta conform, still.

Lessen the contrast of the pants, make the lowest level of darkness of the things you drew correspond to the base - it'll look more coherent.

Haha, the base is not low contrast. I just lowered the transparency to 40% to show off the items I pixelled.
