Title: how do I post images

i'm sorry if this is a stupid question but I have no clue how to post images here i'm not used to forums. despite being 17 I haven't bothered going to many. I clicked insert image but I don't know what to do after that this shows up (http://) but I don't know what to do with it.

Find an image hosting site (imgur, google drive, amazon s3, photobucket, imageshack, etc) and upload your image, then get the direct url (right click > copy imgae link) and put it in between the image tags.
