Title: workout for avatar
Post by: toaster on April 22, 2012, 12:11:40 pm
Hi,

I noticed my avatar has barely any shading at all, so I decided to make him look a little more muscled.
This is what I came up with:

Any C+C is apreciated.

you should fix those legs on the updated on they shouldn't look bent like (imo) and his arms you should use a lighter palette

Thank you for your edit. You're absolutely right about the legs. It seems really obvious now. :-[
Here's the current version:

Still struggling with the abdominal muscles. I have tried a lot, but it's so hard. I saw you drew then in a more cartoony way (by drawing the lines). It sure is a good solution, but it looks like another style than the arms to me.

He sort of had more body than legs but is this the style you're attempting?
