I've taken this as far as I can. Any input and crits would be useful:)
(I'm going to be quite busy over the weekend, so I may not be able to make the fixes and changes there and then:)

....was having trouble trying to upload... :-[
Oh..and for anyone wondering why the C64 restrictions aren't used, it's because the competition states that it's not required. It's more of a palette challenge.

I commented at pixel joint. This needs nothing. It's perfect imo. It reminds me of childhood picture books. It has a classic feel.
You're gonna win man!

The shading on the right leg seems odd to me.
Looks good though :)

I know im helping competition but meh it cnt hurt.
On a pixel level there are a few areas of concern in my opinion, were shading doesn't totally make sense, use of the palette not fully explored and a hell of a lot of banding.

Just take this hand and pie to roughly translate where I'd improve. Tried to use available colours to shape the hand, more for clarity rather than being anatomically correct. I think a lot of places here could do with some attention to AAing, a lot of the time with this palette there's still available colours to work for smoothing lines. Also an extra touch some dithering to blend into the motion blur might work.

I believe the shadow from the pie on the wall should be blurred. Not sure if that would actually occur but for 'artistic license" it works, maybe worth a shot?
Definitely work on (our) right leg, and listen to Terly.

Aaaahhh...thanks a lot guys. I see what you mean about the AAing and that's something I will have to work on. I also didn't realise about the banding problem. :)
To be honest with you, I would rather that it would be anatomically correct as much as possible in regards to drawing hands, as that is an area that is important for me to improve on.
I initially wanted to avoid the use of dither, but your idea for the motion blur would work so much better with it. A shadow on the wall for the blurring pie is another thing I'll try giving a go.
As for the leg...I'll try and figure out what's uncomfortable about it and do a retouch.
I'm really hoping I have time to make these valuable changes :)
Cheers guys!

im not saying u shouldnt have it anatomically correct, because it is far from. I just didn't want my edit to be a shining example of how it should be because It just wasn't the point I was adressing.
