Update:
Hired an artist!
Thanks lot to all the talented artists who sent portfolios and samples :y: :y: :y:
;D Greetings!
I’m a game programmer & artist and so far I’ve always done the art for my games.
This time around I will hire a freelancer to do the art for me.
(I figured out I’m more effective and professional as a programmer than as an artist...)
Project specification
Style: retro Japanese style character (e.g. this (http://spritedatabase.net/file/8822), this (http://spritedatabase.net/file/705))
Character height: 45px (or <35px if you can do magic with pixels like this guy (http://glauberkotaki.com/post/84397759941/chasm))
Here is a messy sketch of the character you will be making:

Work Amount
1st lot (July 2014): ~5 animations (1~4 frames each)
2nd lot (August 2014): 10~15 animations (1~4 frames each)
3rd lot (no schedule): 20~25 animations (1~4 frames each)
1. Please e-mail (studioho@gmail.com)/PM me with a link/file to your portfolio. Your portfolio should show that you can:
- Draw & animate human characters.
- BONUS you can make sword action.
2. If we are match, I’ll send you a spreadsheet with detailed explanations and messy sketches of each animation. Then that you can analyze and budget it.
Note: payment via Paypal
