Title: Hey thur
Post by: Kyle on March 17, 2006, 04:48:19 pm
I'm new here, but I've been watching the forums for quite some time now, and would like advice on my newest sprite.

(the image tags weren't working for some reason)

Also, what website was that king of spriters thing held at? It is probably over, but if it wasn't I'd like to enter him. Oh well. C+C please.

Nice to meet you.
Anyways, when showing images, you should use the direct image link, inclosed in <IMG> here </IMG> (replace <> with []).
Also note that this board has an image zooming capability so we don't have to stare our eyes out at images. (click on an image to zoom in, and shift-click to zoom out)

You use WAY too many colors, (as far as I can tell). Definitely should economize. I really can't give you much more than that since my eyes are kinda weak.  :-\

Anyways, keep working, and use new colors only when it is VERY advantageous (and I mean, these colors better be sufficiently different) to use them. Good luck!

Yes, I know I should use image tags, but they weren't working for some reason. Also, I only used 4 colors on the guy.  ???

I couldn't tell. >_> My eyes don't have a zoom function. I went by that palette you posted.  :D (I honestly should have looked a bit harder)

You can just paste it into paint and zoom in...

when hosting on imageshack, grab the last link 'direct link to image' otherwise you're trying to load a webpage in the image tags, which could be a lot of fun for bad people like me if it were possible >_>
