i dont know why, but i like the old one better.
i think the new one gets to cluttered, with the dithering and all.
i really dont think that aa is needed on such a small sprite.
i think the style of the shading overall looks too messy.

Thanks, it does help and i get it. Had a few doubts about the dithering myself, i'll look into changing it to something better.
The shading is something i struggled with, both on the cape, hat and hair, couldn't really get to something that satisfied me, and got kinda stuck.

Edit:
Messed with it a bit more. Better/worse? Went for a lowest color usage shading type.

I find it lacking. What am i missing? Are hue shifts mandatory? Help! :S
