Seems fine so far but it needs more shading. You have highlights but no shadows.
-
well i tried to shade it is best as i could ( since I'm not that good at judging shadows and stuff ) and i also changed the highlight color

Looks like that lizard monster from that one Disney movie...Rescuers Down Under or something like that. Nice.
-
Well i shaded the reaming part, and made the shadepart darker to add more contrast, i think it looks better :P. so any C&c would be kool. oh yea and i also made the black lines not black.
EditL: did a few miner changes, missed some stuff etc. and the color count says 24 ;P

needs lot more detail, like a skin texture or something, this is like a 5 min job right here
-
im not that good at that kind of stuff :O
so i might just leave it like this :S

Of course you're not, you never try it. You need to try new and different things if you want to get better.
-
yea....you are right Darien, but its just that i dont know how or were 2 start :S

Google some references and work from there. Google Image is a godsend. I use it all the time when working off something I've never tried before.
I just typed in "reptile scale" and Googled Image'd it and this was the first entry (very useful in itself);
