Here's a little piece to get myself back in the pixel groove, as it's been so freaking long since I pixelled anything.
I'm much faster than I used to be, interestingly... this little guy only took me an hour and a half, which puts my productivity at roughly 2 or 3 times what it used to be.

Hey nemesis, you're getting way better. You should put a little more hue change into the orb.

An hour and a half O_o To me this looks like something one could do in about 15 minutes if the idea is already there.
Looks nice tho.

I've always been a horribly slow pixeller; so I never did much because it would take so long. That's why I decided to work on that. :p

That's easy for you to say mr productive... :P (how many tiles you got left on that collab with helm?) lol

get a job you bum! :P

Out of curiosity, do you have any productivity/speedpixelling-related tips?
Or ought I just practice by giving myself a set time, forcing myself to make something in that time, and stopping once it's up?
-
I believe practice, knowing your tools and knowing what you want to do.

Learning the keyboard shortcuts in the app you use is the only tips I can give. I like the way the shortcuts are setup in Pro Motion. I especially like that you can use the pipette tool by holding down ctrl.

Great AA on the box!! The sphere could be better though. :'(

If anybody has ever recorded their pixeling sessions (there must be tools for that), I imagine you'd be able to learn how to improve that way, especially with any of the really good pixelers here.

WTF Pep, no gravedigging!

Sorry, but it caught my eye.
Might want to make that a rule if you're serious about it, or perhaps set up year-by-year locked archives.
