I'm trying to do my first fighter sprite.
This is my first attempt so please bare with me.

Cool lookin' char design. Not much to comment on ATM. You might wanna give it elbows instead of bends, but that could just be a char trait.
The furthest leg looks really wierd just below the "hip." I think the legs should be a bit more seperated up there.

I think I may have made them too small though.

The only reason I haven't made the hands yet is because I blow at hands.

my only response is, this is terrifying and guaranteed to be the worst fighter ever. he couldnt even kick his cousin the slinkys ass.

I like this.
I'd suggest curling the legs more so that they are centered more under the weight of the body, especially if this is an idle pose.

don't scrap it, your just getting to farther ahead of yourself, try some tuts and figure out some stuff that you think you need to work on before you try and attempt the harder stuff ;3

@Zach: This character became too difficult to attempt, I didn't scrap the whole idea of making a fighter.
I started a new thread for the new fighter I'm working on.

 :( Tis a shame though, this was a cool concept.
Maybe when you finish the other one as a more solid piece you can become more daring and try and re-do this one.  :D
