Well I been workin' on some T.D.S Tiles for a little bit, and was wondering if anyone had some suggestion or crits on what i got so far.

Going for a cartoony look.

i quite like it at the moment, but i think the floor should be a bit darker. I think it could also use a highlight to go along with the shadows. I like the pattern on the floor though - but it looks a little flat as is.
Also, the east and south wall shading should probably be on the other side to keep the lighting consistent from the north west

i changed the black to a DAAAARRRK red, fixed the wall lighting and darkened the floor and put in a highlight - i added a colour for the shadows.
this may be darker than you wanted, but i think it shows a little more depth between the walls and the floors.

Thanks u'mm, I was going for like a straight up top light source sort like zelda. (how everything get lighter near the top.) However the bottom wood tiles did help a bit. Working on an update.

Made a Walking animation. Not much, but it's kinda' hard when it's 16x16.

i think a bit of the arm should be shown, it was hard to know which side the image was facing when i looked at it for a second.

I you increse the size you'll see it does show a little bit of the arm. I cant show anymore, there's no more room left on the image.
