i would suggest trying to finish an entire face before asking for critique

this is the 1st real crit i was given im not really sure what i do do i work on the version you fixed up or something

i should of mentioned its ment to be a anime mugshot base not a real person

You're supposed to look at his version, and look at yours, and try to see why his is better, and how he accomplished what you were trying to. Then, try to apply what you learned from looking at his version. Do not work on his edit, that is pointless and you won't learn anything.

Also, it doesn't matter if it is supposed to be anime or realistic, the same principles apply. Don't use that as an excuse.

i would say i kept mine pretty anime.
but yeah, basically what he said.
everything i learned from pixel art i learned from posting my own under developed art and seeing amazing edits that made me rethink how i do things.
not to say my edit is amazing.  :D
