Ugh, I'm tired of looking at this... This guy really is sore on the eyes. He's finished, in my avatar.

personally, i think its cool and all...BUT i feel you should break away from this funky style dithering even if its "your style". I would like to see something different out of you. <3

only crit is that the tongue fills his entire mouth. and the teeth arent too defined.

Thats an aesthetic crit that I disagree with (on the edit). I prefer the full tongue and the fused together teeth, its part of the design that I like. I'll probably do something differant in time, its a gradual thing to adopt new techniques, but I'm glad you brought to my attention that perhaps I should change something, I'll keep that on my mind.

Thanks for reasponding, Alex.

Or in fact, anyone else who has ever used 2pixel random dither and pronounced geometrics in their pixel art?

Could you explain what pronounced geometrics means to you Helm, I'm a little lost. Thanks for replying.

GoodnightDestroyer: Thanks for the compliment, he's an inspiration to me.

IMO your more recent pieces have taken the squares way overboard (this piece suffers because of it), and coupled with your color choices it looks like just about every major element of this piece is an imitation :p style crits though, do with them what you will.. gotta imitate things to absorb them, but there's a huge temptation around here to use style as a crutch.  I'd hate to see that happen to anyone with actual potential, which you exhibit :p

Totally off-topic, but does Skip still pixel?

He will, in time. But as of right now he is pure vectors.

i think you should study up on your anatomy some more, you need to know the rules before you can break them

Whatcha talkin bout Zach- this guy has no anatomy. I'm not sure if he has bones. ;D

Maybe then you could do a few pieces where there are bones and therefore need for anatomical skill will not be so easily circumvented? When you then go back to doing something more... amorphus, the skill of what to do will pay off in what not to do nicely.
