why does the color get less saturated the lighter it gets? i also think some refining needs to be done to the lines.

Hey, you speak Spanish natively?  (Es tu primera idioma Espanol?)  (I say this because I saw 'por' in the first message... :P  Maybe just an english typo tho.)

Creo que tu technique para dibujar necesita mejorar.  (I think your drawing technique needs to improve.)  Primero, (Estoy usando el ingles porque no se como se dice la proxima palabra.. (I'm using English because I don't know how to say the next word..))  block out colors, doing simple shading and lighting, and add outlines last, or after it's been blocked out.  And don't restrict yourself to what you've draw first; constantly refine what you've drawn.

Entiendes?  (Do you understand?)
Puedo darte un ejemplo.  (I can give you an example.)

Hasta luego,
Shrike
