Title: New to Drawing and Pixel Art

Hello, I have very little experience with art and drawing and really wanted to start doing some pixel art. I'm OK at drawing but ultimately pretty bad, although I'm wanting to start practicing. Would you guys recommend that I start trying to do pixel art right away or should I stick to drawing with pen and paper for the moment? I'm really interested in pursuing this as a hobby :)

I personally just started pixelling, and that's probably why I'm not so good  :D. But you can always do both!

IMO, you need drawing skills for pretty much anything. PA is no different.
Having firm drawing skills for an artist is like a writer having a good grasp of grammar and sentence structure.
