Post by: balls01 on March 28, 2009, 12:50:57 am
hey, im doing a port of my band, its a pretty much everything, but we normally generalise in completely pointless music put into death growling and powerchords on guitars.so its basically we muck around and make music.

It looks too posterize-filtered atm. I would watch your linked videos for a better idea on artistic direction, but I could only withstand about 18 seconds of the one that popped up when the page opened. I really love how IE allows you to close a browser tab with a sinlge quick middle mouse button click. It's really nice.

The conglomerate of pixels around the nose didn't translate into a battery until I saw the reference.
You're all over the place, doing too many steps at once.  First decide if you want outlines or not.  It's very disorienting and inconsistent if you've got forms in some places and outlines in others.  Then let's work on sculpting the shapes of the face.  Establish some depth with the nose and the chin and the eyebrows--let the eyes sink into the skull.  Get your lights and darks to hit the face and tell us where the bumps and dips are.  We can worry anti aliasing later!
