Title: Fat skinny dude
Post by: DementedHero on May 15, 2007, 07:52:52 pm
Right.
I recently watched Pan's Labyrinth, and there was this brilliant monster, a baby-eating thing with eyes in his hands and lots of loose-hanging skin.

There was also a faun, this one to be precise:

Now, I was just sketching a bit with these things in mind, when I thought of this thing.

The thing is, I'm having major problems with the arms. The whole anatomy is supposed to be really skinny, with lots of the loose-hanging skin, but with a fat belly. Small legs are intentional.

Tips and edits are more than welcome.

Never seen the movie yet either myself, just a bit of edits his stomach is too "Flat" to be fat, so just rounded it out and added a leaf because he looks like a tree to me :D

Ah, I recently saw the movie myself, the Pale Man is the guy who eats the kids and the Faun is very awesome character design aswell.

From memory, the Faun had leaves and moss all over it showing it's age so I don't know if you would want to add some of that.
