So, how often do you pixel? Not often enough? Too much!?
-
Every workday at work, and I am still motivated to do demoscene and other private stuff.
-
in a week? i'd prob say 15+ hours, i pixel alot mostly at nights
-
I chose 10 minutes. Mostly, I don't do anything at all, but if I do some pixeling, it's always a couple of hours in a row, so it might average out to that.
-
Right now about 4 hours a week.
-
wow, I've really gotten off practice...it's been months7
-
15+ most of the weeks.
-
10+. i pixel about 1.5 hours a day.
-
8 hours a week, usually on saturday.
how often do I pixel for myself? zero hours per week :(
-
Long ago, 2003.. I used to pixel about 12-14 hours a day for work. I really stopped pixeling in my spare time. Now I spend a few hours a night if "i'm in the mood"
-
I pixel just for edits about 5 hours a week. My own shit is double that when I'm actually making stuff, which is about once or twice per month, so ~2-3 hours more per week, I put 7 playing it safe.
-
I'm never in the mood.
-
I pixel edit a lot, but I rarely start work from scratch anymore. :(
-
5 hours if i find the time...
-
i work 10 hour days, spend 2 hours on linux studies for my certification, play WoW and until recently have had serious problems with my personal life, it really takes a lot to want to sit down and pixel something after all that.
-
Used to pixel ~8 hours a day up to 5 days a week for 2-3 years.. these days probably 20-30hrs a month IF I have some freelance job which involves pixeling to do. If I feel like doing something arty, I'd rather CG than pixel these days.
-
4 hours. Generally on school computers, though, so nothing ever gets anywhere (not that it's any good anyway :ouch: )
WoW also contributes to lack pixeling time.
-
Whoever conceptualized WoW also conceptualized Heroin and cigarettes.
-
Well whenever I touch a computer it's all I seem to wanna do, I've got hundreds of random works lyin around, scattered across several computers. Don't keep anything together, it's the what I learn whilst making it that counts Id say. so definately 15hours+ for me. :-[ (when I've got the time to spare) minimum, 2 hours a week. I vary.
-
2-3 hours... roughly.
-
7 hours, yus i pixel for about an hour a day, but i never get any better :'( i might spend like 4 hours on a saturday if i have othing else to do with my sad life :(

Oh my, 12 and already a sad life :ouch:, I dunno how much I pixel in a week since I just started serious pixeling...
-
lol i was joking ::) or are you?
-
Don't pixel often, but when I do, it usually lasts for a couple hours till I finish/get bored.
-
I usually pixel in periods... like two weeks I do pixel stuff all day, and then some other medium grabs my attention for some weeks/months (although recently I've been pixelling pretty consistant), plus I do alot of exchanges and stuff in traditional media so alot of time goes to that. But if I spread the time out on a year, I'd guess it's about 2hrs/week.
-
Not nearly as much as I'd like.
College = lack of engery/motivation to fight my sister for the pc currently :\
-
4-5 hours a week at the most. I'd love to spend more time doing it, but there's so much more I want to do. I know I should dedicate more time to this if I want to improve even more. Pixelation and practice have really helped me improve. I may not be the best pixeler but I consider myself fairly competent. However I should continue to work with the traditional art skills. Maybe the mods should create a poll about traditional art skills or time a week, that'd be interesting.
-
As it is now, never, I'm afraid... I'll see if I can muster up some.. er... effort, sometime soon... Promise.
-
4 hours a week, it's hard to find some creative/quality time between studying, videogame/tv, and eating/sleeping. :P
-
Half an hour a week or so usually spent on sketching, messing with other people's lines and colors, and then immediately deleting my progress. I usually do that until I strike a concept that I feel the need to develop for a couple hours and then go back to my half hour a week.
