Title: Ancient Robot [WIP, C&C wanted]
Post by: lichen on October 22, 2007, 04:32:25 am
Hey, new user here.
I started my first real pixel art yesterday for a game I might be making soon. Looking for some C&C on this.
After browsing this forum for a bit mine is looking pretty basic... :-[
The wheel stands out the most to me; the specular seems off and it needs a tread.
edit: also the yellow shoulder detail shouldn't be on the back cast.

You usually want to avoid dithering a character sprite. Dithering is best applied on backgrounds, interfaces, and other static objects. Focus instead on getting some nice color ramps and building up the form that way.
