Title: [C+C] more NES cutscenes
Post by: kullenberg on May 23, 2015, 03:48:47 am
I'm gonna make a bunch of these so might aswell put them all in one thread. Sorry for spamming.

Here is a noir Don Draper kind of guy.

That's a pretty awesome idea for a cut scene but your guy looks pretty stiff and motionless.
Try turning his head a little or changing the angle of his shoulders, or give him slight grin or a look of suspicion.
Otherwise it has some pretty good shadows man!

Here is an update. Tried out a more striking color scheme to go with the noir look.

I don't get into nes style that much but these r good to watch.
you'll get better critique if u keep your threads separate like you're doing now instead of dumping it all together.

keep it up  :y:

those two thin line on his face are not imho the best way to define the jaw and cheeks. I'd try something with wider areas of shadow-skin tone instead.

that's true it looks kinda ugly to me too but it appears intended and appropriate in that it resembles comic/pop-art penwork.
