Title: [WIP] Mountain top

Hello,

I am starting out in the pixel - art department. My objective is to draw some nice art for my games. This particular one is supposed to be a mountain top but up till now I only have a sky with a bit of dithering and some clouds (I am trying to create everything using tiles).

I am not particularly happy with the dithering. Is there anything I could improve at it to make it look better?

You might want to try interlaced dithering (http://www.pixeljoint.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=11299).

Thank you for your suggestion Nmb910. Unfortunately I didn't quite understand how interlaced dithering works and from what I saw in the example given there about 6 colors used, whereas I only have two at once. But I did expand the dithering a bit and I like how it looks now a bit better. Will get back as I advance:
