Spectrum restrictions (hopefully):
two colours per 8*8
can't use a light colour and a dark colour on the same 8*8
black is both a light and a dark colour.
15 colours total:

I love this. It look incredibly awesome as far as I am concerned. On the smaller image you are mixing dark cyan and light blue in the stone tiles. Other than that there are no errors :)
If this would be made into a game it would not be possible to scroll it, but I guess screenflipping would be fine, metroidvania style, just for EVERY screen.
I wanna see more :)

Very nice.
Clever use of the restrictions to get this style, the blocky look has something.

I also like it. For what it is, it's play-ready for me. Just do more environments, try an animated player character sprite. Show us some life in it. If you for example animate the flames and so on...

Beautiful.
Only thing I'm querulous about is distinction of foreground/background with the dark-red-on-black rock tiles. Most of them strike me as background but a couple places with a higher red-density I'm not so sure.
Also the light-red-on-black and dark-red-on-black are near indistinguishable on my monitor, but that's out of your control.
Maybe it is typical of Speccy stuff (?) but this has a real ANSI-artish charm to it.

I really like this, looking forward to seeing more, maybe some animation as Helm has already suggested. Personally I wouldn`t change a thing. Has a very cool feel to it despite the low restrictions. Looks very unique too.
