Hi everybody, this is my first post and I've just started working on the UI for my game. Up to now I've been mostly doing low-res texturing work on low-poly 3d models, but this is one of my early ventures into pixel art. I'd like to know on how to improve the following three icons:

From L to R they represent the journal, camp, and map actions.

It looks like you just downsized bigger assets. You should use way less colors and avoid automatic anti-aliasing!

Thanks, I've been using a brush instead of a pixel tool to draw these. Here are the camp and journal icons using the pixel tool.

It's looking better. The campfire is still still using many colors that look very similar. Make every color count!

Cool! Digging the highlights on the firewood, but I'll try to go a middle path between the flame colors. I like them a bit muted.
