Here's a character from a game I'm developing. An adventurous young boy unexpectedly has the art of falconry thrust upon him, hence the falconry glove. I'd really appreciate any feedback on this.
I recently revamped him and would like to get him perfected before I reanimate him.

At first i was thinking about the falconers on Dark Souls haha, but it's a really good concept, and i think that you improved your character a lot by using a different palette,it looks much more stylized. Excellent work.

Looks amazing. I would say tho, if you didn't say he was a falconeer I wouldn't guess he was one, maybe make his glove more apparent.
Also, why is his belt buckle in the shape of a reversed L, usually they have a cube shape, this isn't as much criticism as it is curiosity

I agree about the glove. Whenever I see this character I think he's got like a werewolf hand or something haha. Have you tried larger hands so you can emphasise the glove? I think it would be a good idea since it's the most unique thing about the design.

Thanks for the feedback, all.
The belt buckle
Originally, it was a full square. It always annoyed me how bulky it was, so I attempted to create a thinner metal outline effect, just reflecting one side of it. Perhaps I didn't pull it off very well. There's not much room for maneuver.
The glove
The original design did have much bigger hands. This received the opposite criticism, I was told to make them smaller! Perhaps I will try recolouring the glove to a non-brown colour. The falconer will have a bird by his side throughout the game and constantly uses the glove to launch him at enemies, as seen below.
Video contains the older character design.

Good stuff!
I think the belt buckle is fine as an L and I agreed that the glove could be bigger but in the video it seems fine. Maybe try having the brown of the glove run a bit higher or make a ridge or give it an outline. But I think once in gameplay it will work either way.

Please note the video is of the old character design, the new design has smaller hands.
I have enlongated the arms ever so slightly. I have returned to the original colour of blue, but I don't want the trousers to look like denim, more like cargo trousers.

you could try giving him one of those sidecape things to create a better visual divide!
-
You could also distinguish the glove by giving it a different outline.

Here, I added the cape idea I was talking about and widened the wrist bit of the glove to give it more visibility and a stylish flared look! I also tweaked exactly one pixel on the left side of the head to make it more round.

Oh wow, that actually does look great and does emphasize the falconer role. Unfortunately, it is out of character - he is just a boy who gets wound up in adventure and ends up receiving the falconry glove from an old falconer. He is intentionally quite ordinary looking.

There's still room for it to work, allow me to illustrate:

Now it's a neckerchief! It gives him a bit more of a midwestern flair now, but it also doesn't compromise the "normal kid" look like the cape would!
