Title: Help and critique with my dinosaur
Post by: Lumelore on June 09, 2018, 09:36:08 pm
Is he proportional and is the shading right? Do you think his fingers are too mushed together? If you have any other opinions, please let me know.

I think I messed it up, oh no. I'm not sure what to do. I checked the rules and stuff and I could find anything on how to properly post an image. Help me please.

Welcome to Pixelation :) I fixed that image for you. You need the direct image link to embed it here, not the link to the imgur page.

i think that you pillow shaded it, look it up. you need to decide on where the lights is coming from and keep it to that.
And it feels like its a bit unbalanced, like if it will tip over, head first if it stodd like that. so maybe bend the legs a bit differently. But i lióve the detailed face, it feels alive. Make the stripe on its back not so straight, so they also feels more realistic and alive

In addition to what BasseBoi points out there are fundamental issues w/ anatomy. It would help if you told us which, but dunno what species of dino has trunk legs and a cannon body. Bone growth on head is distracting basically because these colors aren't working out. I'll drop a major edit tomorrow with more.

Thank you all for the help so far.  :)

If you are wondering what dinosaur it is, it's a pachycephalosaurus.
