I do. There its a load of useless colors. Hardly noticable.. only if you zoom in like 5x..

I don't understand why you dithered in a lot of places. There's a good amount of pillow shading. Your lighting is still a little weird... the shadow seems like an after thought. Do you have a reference picture?

I count 70+ colours

Did you even -try- sticking to a palette or did you just guess at similar colours as you went along? ^^;

JonathanOfDrain there is no reference picture. I painted my phone, and adding lighting himself

My goal is foto realistic pixel art

Jericho yes, I hold the palette, in paint.net is conveniently done

Unfamiliar with the program but I know programs like ProMotion and GraphicsGale have the color palette standard.

I quickly looked at Paint.net, it doesn't look very pixel friendly.

Find a lot of stuff there.
ProMotion isn't free but all those that have it swear by it.
I use graphics gale and live with it. It's good for keeping track of your colors and that's about it.

Are you kidding ???? GraphicsGale is super good at just about everything it does. Atleast, way better then any program I've used, and I've used quite a few!
