btw i proudly buy everything i use so if you think id be better suited with another app instead of grafx2 let me know. and ill check it out. i do like grafx2 though. i just am not 'getting' it right now. also mspaint has this border two when copying and pasting so it must be there for a reason. why? i dont know.

Um, if you mean when you try to grab a brush you pick up the background as well, then you simply have to set the right mouse colour to the background colour. In other words: you want to pick up a black squiggle as a brush from a white background. Set your RMB colour as white and then pick it up, and you should be fine.

In MSPaint, you have those 2 very colourful icons when you pick up something, select the bottom one and the background will disappear, but again, you have to have the bg colour set as your secondary colour. hope this helped.

You probably grabbed "outside" the brush. In grafx2, the brush grabbing tools pick the pixels that are under the marching ants, on all sides : So you need to 'overwrite' the pixels you want to grab.

For iso, be sure to try the shift key with the line tool.
