I forgot all about pixel art for years. But I've been taking art classes and learning a bit about color theory and shading.
So to celebrate the holiday season, I've made a Christmas wreath cursor! (http://www.majhost.com/gallery/laniidae/Art/mouse.png)
Crits welcome. took like five minutes. I'm not happy with some of the AA yet but I like the colors.
Thinking I might make the bow a bight brighter, and potentially add a white border for clarity against all backgrounds.

I think this could use a little more difference in values, as the bow tends to disappear into the wreath as it is. Also adding to the disappearance is that the bottom of the bow kinda creates a tangent with the bottom of the wreath; I think adding a few pixels on the outer bottom bow corners that would clearly show the overlap between the bow and wreath would help :)
