A few things I like about this:

Very clean and stylized

vertical motion lines

nice use of color for depth (for the smoke at his feet), though that gray could be a little darker.


What I don't like:

character kind of indistinct, obscured behind energy blast

energy blast = Giant blue phallus!?!?!?
