I'm sorry, my brain isnt functioning well today.

Updated. I want to redo the arm - it got too bright when dithered.

The fastest way to make a peice look 2D is to use solid dark lines in place of shading. An example of where you have done this is right around the neck. Take a look :)

now my example on the left isnt the greatest as it was done really quickly (plus its 3am xD), but Ihope it can atleast help a little with what could be done instead.

Sorry, I don't really understand what you mean. Do you mean the outline around the curve of the neck - how its really dark?

Wether it is dark or light isnt really what i was trying to address, but rather the fact that you have used a continuous line of solid colour to outline the edge of the neck.
Zoom in on my example and make a comparison. Instead of using solid lines, I have used shadowing/shading to define actual depth.
I'm horrible at explaining things which is why I make examples in the first place haha. The only thing I can suggest to you is to actually take a good look at the example and compare.

Yeah, I kind of saw what you meant the first time - but I wasn't realy sure. I see what you mean for sure now though, thanks.
