Title: Help with 16x6 proportions and color pallet
Post by: mangodragon on March 07, 2016, 11:01:13 pm
Hey guys,

I'm working on a 16 by 16 sprite and just wanted to block it out first. However the proportion of the head and/or body seems a bit too large/blocky. In addition I would like some help with a color pallet for this.

I wanted to base the colors off this (The red, earth colors hair color, boot color, sword)
the color reference: (http://i.imgur.com/3D7xIOl.png)

the 16x16 sprite:

Thanks!

Just draw the entire thing, it's not worth blocking out when it's 16x16 pixels.
It's not hard to fix the proportions afterwards.

But it is hard to comment on something like this when it's just blocks.
If you get stuck at this point, it seems like it's rather a problem with motivation.
