Great start! I did an edit to highlight the importance of a more definite light source.

I couldn't help but give her some little eyeballs lol. The left leg feels a bit odd up close, but makes more sense when the viewer backs up. The overall resolution that this piece is displayed at will effect the readability to some degree.

I made a color change as a test right before I saw your post. I will give the light source method a go. At one point I was thinking about giving her a nose. Just a simple dot. The big problem will be animating. :(

Don't know where I will take the art style for the platformer. It will either take place in the prehistoric period or in the far future.

Haha when i seen the second edit, i thought it was a girl from the far future(cuz of the blue hair) trapped in prehistoric period :crazy:

Just curious but what is the blue thing on her arm? a wrist brace? Wrist attached lazer? :P

I am still working on this. The blue is just suit decoration. That is supposed to be the arm she shoots out of though so choosing that was a conscience decision.
