Well this is my first time Posting here, so I better try to make it look good.
I decided to sprite my characters in Diamond and Pearl style, I hope the people of Pixelation will approve.

maybe the outlines on the clothes should be a little bit brighter, also, i don't really like the lower part of the first image(the guy with a halo).
maybe make him more slim.
other than that, it's awesome, you're quite talented, welcome to the forums :y:

These are ridiculously cute. If I had to suggest anything, I say maybe add a bit of highlight to the hair. The only biggie is that at chibi size, I really wouldn't be able to tell at a glance the difference between the male and female sprites with the brown hair. In fact, even looking closely, I'd be hard pressed to differentiate gender. I think a bit more differentiation would be helpful. Maybe keep the biggish legs on the male and shrink the feet of the female and bring them closer together (to give her more "womanly" hips).

I also did the battle sprite... I know it needs work, but C+C is appreciated.

I think its too large..
On the first image, the shoulders are around the height of the eyes of the origional.. but on the second one its the cap!

I'd say get rid of all dithering and try to get coherent outlines. That'll make him more true to style :]
