Title: Anime Character.
Post by: Liberator on February 13, 2007, 03:23:34 pm
Here's an anime character I drew. I've never actually seen this Anime show before, but my friend wanted too do a collab and I siad yes, but then opted to do the whole myself instead.

this doesn't look like a finished work to me. You really need to clean up your lines, as opposed to just drawing.

Ahhh I was wondering what Anime that was. I must ask, did you use a reference pic?

I'd suggest you look up some antialiasing tutorials as the method your using at the moment really doesn't work.

Also your mixing of 8-connect and 4-connect outlines is odd, though you might be able to pull it off with better AA.

It reminds of Mugen from Samurai Champloo, the face looks kinda off, and the background could be better with some trees and better detailed grass.

That's who it's supposed to be, Def.
The neck...is not necklike at all. In fact, I'm not sure what you were trying to do there.
