im gonna make different expressions for him, and hair and clothes, and probably a girl version.
ps: im not cool enough to make a customizer thing, that could be online. anyone here masters at php or javascript?

But i agree, if you looking for an adorable cute lil thing....thats not the say to go....make it alot bigger and an even bigger head, for cute expressions.

I sorta disagree. I think you should be able to cram as much detail in something very small before you go onto bigger pieces.

I did a quick edit on the pallet to try to help make the colors stand out a bit on the skin....also tried to do up a quick version of me :-\
The hue shifting you had was a good start, I just tried to spread it out a bit more. These are cool; remind me of lego people...

when i try big stuff, i have trouble with gettign shapes right, theyre always deformed

Well, this little guy is fairly deformed as well :huh: I don't know many people with cylindrical legs and arms, spherical heads, missing facial features, etc. Working small at first is a good idea, but if you can't get the precision you want at this size, you might want to try something a little bigger so you have more canvas to work with. Good luck with your pixels!
