Title: [NEWBIE] Robots - advice appreciated

Hello,

I am aiming to make some small robots for a game, as I have no artist I will need to learn pixel art well enough to at least make a prototype.

I am very new to Pixel Art and probably break all the rules, any tips or help would be appreciated.

I am thinking floating robots or ones with tracks will be easier to animate so probably go with something move like this

SIMPLIFY

You're packing in too much detail. Try cutting the detail in half and seeing what happens.
