Title: [wip] Into the Dungeon ++: New base sprite + Orc Sprite + Skeleton Sprite
Post by: Psiweapon on May 29, 2011, 01:02:35 pm
Well well well. I finally got around doing some animated sprites.

The base sprite has been rebuilt from scratch, the first try's only use was to start getting to grips with all this...

This spritesheet (What do you call this kind of file, actually?) has some corrections that don't show in the skeleton animation preview (too lazy to UnFREEz it all again)
(http://i87.photobucket.com/albums/k149/Psiweapon/orc_animation_test.gif) and (http://i87.photobucket.com/albums/k149/Psiweapon/eskeleton_animation_test.gif)

Any C+C and/or advice?

That's a lot of blood for baby Hulk's death. That frame would look inappropriate if he suffers a more innocuous death (choking on a pretzel or something). Unless the pretzel is actually a ninja star.

Bahaha. Agreed. Excessive blood/gore in games I often pretty annoying.

It is called a spritesheet, btw.
