Hey, i'm ShoySlayer  ;D. Anyways i'm making a mockup and i want to hear some comments. It's not finished so dont be angered at me that i left some images.

I'm really unclear about what i'm looking at.
At first glance it looks like maybe...an oddly shaped fish...jumping out of water...or something?

Can you at least describe the intent of your game/what's going on, etc? There's gotta be a better way to render that band-shaded water, unless code is to move every 1px column up and down to create distortion on the surface or something very restricting like that, but even then. Everything is colored with boring color ramps. Try some deviations.

Toss a background in there real quick, just so you can start developing one.

Well,before i submit my update, i will explain the game. the game is about a dark crystal, who's called "The Dark Sprite"(meaning dark spirit, and also a sprite, lol). he got released by an unknown power source, and it looks for his captor. the guards try to seal him away (a.k.a enemys), and the misson is to get out of the palace, and kill the captor.
