I am working on a game, and have a mock up of the title screen image thingy. C+C welcome :).

sorry for all of the white, it was transparent in GG, but .png format doesn't allow transparency.

.png supports alpha just fine.
You might want to find some reference images for the skull, it's hard to work out exactly what's going on: is that a second eye or the nose gap or what?

Really? every time i export from png, the alpha never works. The skull is in 1/2 profile, and the bottom triangles are teeth, it's hard to explain (based on a random doodle o' mine).

I think Geti's advice is good, even if you're going for a stylised look it helps to have a good understanding of what it is you're distorting first.

Really? every time i export from png, the alpha never works.
It may have a .png -filetype ending but it opens as a .bmp -file. Don't use any Export from PNG, use Save As PNG. What program do you use?
