Hey! :D Please C&C this :3
-
I think not enough wiggle his head on the animation front
-
What's the perspective?
First person? Side-scroller?
-
Bonan: I will add som wiggle to him ^_^ Thanks :P
Seiseki: I think it's called 3/4 perspective? Like a pokémon-game
-
Unfortunately that's not quite how 3/4 perspective works. It looks like the sprite's facing us, which I'm pretty sure is why Seiseki is confused. RPG sprites (that's the genre you're thinking of) are a good point of reference. The clothes are low in contrast as well, especially the shirt. Light-source is also confusing; the lighting conditions suggest day (perhaps in overcast/cloudy weather) when the sun's more above, but the light seems to be coming directly from the side. The closest, common situation to result in this, I think, would be sunset or an artificial light. ???
I'll elaborate/make an edit soon. This is a small sprite, so it shouldn't take long.

Complete redo:

What do you guys think?
-
It's rather eerie that his arms, legs and hair move, but his body and head are completely still. No person can move like that!
-
The perspective is still 1st person.. :/
-
Charlie: Ok, I'll try to do make some more movement to 'em.
Seiseki: Argh D: What do I have to do then?
-
You have to do this-

What you have is on the left. 3/4 view is 45 degrees above, so the character's body points diagonally up and toward the camera, rather than perpendicular like it is now.
-
But that just looks retarded! Hahah xD
So.. More of the top of the head and eyes further down?
-
As much a sucker as I am for accurate perspective in top down games, this topic is a nice read: http://www.wayofthepixel.net/pixelation/index.php?topic=7075.0
