I've been trying to get into pixel art a bit more, and I had an idea for something I could start doing, so I made this guy first.

Please, be as harsh as possible, I understand the importance of critique.

Someone on another forum said that it exhibited signs of pillow shading, I didn't see what they were talking about but I did try to move the light source on the image a bit further to the side to fix it up a little.

As some of the more pixelart wise people of drl said, you should try again from a flat colored sprite and use shadows more sparingly.

Yey, a reply.
I'm redrawing the cloak right now, just cleared all the sprite colors on the inside and put the base color.

I was kinda thinking of a rogue like character, I was trying to make em seem a little shadowy, but I messed up horribly, which I can see now after studying it for a while.
